How we work
1. Initial Consultation
We begin your kitchen or bath design with an initial consultation to determine your wants and needs. We look at your project, discuss design and functionality issues, listen to your ideas, and develop a plan so you can move forward. At this appointment, we will take “before” photos and all necessary measurements of your space. This appointment usually takes about 2 hours. $225
2. Design Phase
On our next appointment, we will meet with you and present to you the space plan, elevations, tile design, flooring and counter top selections, plus selections for bath fixtures, lighting, wall color, cabinet hardware, and more. Once the initial design is reviewed, we make any adjustments needed, and then you sign off on the design. For simple bathroom remodels, the design fee is $650; for more complicated bath remodels and kitchen remodels, the fee ranges between $800 and $1100.
3. Implementation Phase
Once the design has been approved, we begin the implementation phase. During this phase, we can work with you as much or as little as you like. We have a licensed general contractor we work with, but are also able to work with your contractor if you already have one. We work with a team of licensed, high quality sub contractors such as painters, electricians, plumbers, cabinet makers, etc. that we are happy to recommend to you if needed.
We charge hourly for the implementation phase and can be available in person, by phone or email through the duration of the project to make sure your project gets completed according to the design. With so many decisions to make, and so much project management involved, it is well worth our cost to make sure the project goes according to plan.
Hourly fee: $125. Blocks of time may be purchased in minimum 5 hour increments for $575.
Finishing touches
We love to see a kitchen or bath finished with artwork and accessories. As the final part of our implementation service, keeping your budget in mind, we select, shop for, and place those finishing touches like artwork, towels and accessories, leaving you with a completed project ready for those great “after” photos– Just like on TV!
